UNLOCKING ACCESSIBILITY

Ramps for those in need

Providing no-cost mobility ramps for low-income residents with disabilities through volunteer efforts, regardless of background.

Empowering Independence Through Volunteer Support

Our mission is fueled by the dedication of our volunteers, who selflessly donate their time and skills to build ramps that promote accessibility and independence.

We believe that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves equal access to mobility solutions. With no barriers to race, religion, ethnicity, age, or gender, our ramps symbolize inclusivity and care for the community we serve.

How We Work

01
CONNECTION

Referral Submission

We receive referrals from third-party health care providers for low-income older adults and individuals with disabilities in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.

02
PREPARATION

A Plan is Made

A trained surveyor visits the home and designs a ramp at the preferred entry/exit that is appropriate in length, slope and direction. If the client approves the survey design, the ramp is scheduled for construction.

03
CONSTRUCTION

Building the Ramp

A volunteer construction crew, led by a trained leader, will then build the new ramp at the home in as little as four to five hours.

The reason we do what we do

"I use the ramp everyday. I used my guardian angels to build it."
